International Chorus
Sing all kinds of music: world music, oldies, pop, power ballads, classical music, and anything else we think is cool. You may choose to accompany the music on guitar, piano, or percussion instruments. We sing most of our music in three-part harmony. The music is challenging, and way fun!
The Magix: Beginning International Chorus
Learn to sing and make new friends! No previous experience necessary.
Ages: No age requirement
Prerequisite: A love of music

The Big Kids: Advanced International Chorus
The Big Kids is for experienced singers. If you're ready for advanced work and are ready to audition, The Big Kids is for you.

The Bucket Brigade Percussion Ensemble
Create fantastic poly-rhythms and wonderful world music using traditional drums from many different cultures, as well as 5 gallon pickle buckets, trash pails, found objects, and sticks. If you can make a sound on it, you can create rhythms with it. Learn how in this class for all experience levels.
Ages: 10-Adult
Prerequisites: A desire to get rhythmic in public!

Jazz/Rock Band
If you want to play in a jazz/rock band, this is the class for you! The Jazz/Rock Band plays with professional Bay Area musicians in YPI concerts. Instruction is by arrangement with YPI's jazz/rock faculty.
Beginning Jazz/Rock Band Instruction
Learn the basics of playing in a jazz/rock band.
Ages: No age requirement
Prerequisite: Current study on your instrument

Advanced Jazz/Rock Band Instruction
Sharpen your chops, learn to play the classics, and jam with your friends.

Individual Instrument Instruction
Study guitar, piano, voice, percussion, flute, bass, saxophone, clarinet, violin or trumpet with teachers who accommodate your specific learning style.
